VIT University has released VITEEE Application Form 2017


VIT University has released VITEEE Application Form 2017. The application form is available in online mode as well as offline mode and aspiring candidates can fill, submit and edit the application form till February 28, 2017. VITEEE 2017 Application Form will be considered complete only after the candidates have paid the application fee for the entrance exam.

For online application form of VITEEE 2017, candidates have to pay Rs. 970 through debit card/credit card/net banking, while applicants desirous of paying the application fee through Demand Draft, have to pay Rs. 990. Such candidates have to draw a DD of Rs. 990 in favour of “Director – UG Admissions”, VIT University, Vellore – 632014.

VIT University will conduct Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2017 from April 5 to 16 for admissions to over 5,000 undergraduate engineering seats in various B.Tech programmes across its four campuses - VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT Andhra Pradesh and VIT Bhopal. VIT Andhra Pradesh and VIT Bhopal are new campuses of the university which will offer admissions from academic year 2017-2018 onwards.

VITEEE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  1. Candidates, whose date of birth falls on or after July 1, 1995 are eligible to apply.
  2. Candidates should have secured 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology taken together in +2/intermediate
  3. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories and North-East should have secured an aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology.
  4. Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
  5. High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva
  6. General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London / Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level
  7. Students from National Institute of Open Learning (NIOP) can also apply.
  8. Apart from NIOP, all aspirants should have studied under regular, full time and formal education.
